Happy Thanksgiving!

Updated: Aug 4, 2023

It's Thanksgiving here in Canada so I wanted to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for making the world a better place with your singing. You are all beautiful and your singing makes the world a better place!

What are you grateful for when it comes to singing? Your tone? Your range? Your power? Or is it how singing allows you to connect to emotions and channel them out? How about the experiences singing brings? And the people you meet through singing?

Singing has benefited many areas of my life that I'm also grateful for. I'm very pleased with my tone and range. I love the coloratura style agility I've developed during my university years. What makes me stand out from other singers is the power of my upper register (I'm quite loud up there for a 5' tall woman!).

Singing has always been a source of entertainment and self-discovery. I enjoy improvising with my partner. He is an incredible piano player (lucky me)! I'm humbled to be working with amazing clients who sing their heart out and share so much of who they are with me. Some of the artists I've worked with inspire me personally on a deep level and for that I am eternally grateful too.

This week I made a new music business connection about a project I'm working on. I can't reveal any of the details yet but I'm very excited about it. Stay tuned!Thanksgiving is about reaping what we sow. A celebration of the harvest. How you shape your present defines your future. So continue to set high expectations and work hard. Push yourself beyond the limits of your comfort zone, keep learning and enjoy the process. But that's not all... They say that we should give thanks daily; that the more appreciation we show, the more we receive. That's wonderful news! So now it's your turn; what are you grateful for?

P.S.: Have you watched my free masterclass yet? If not, now is the perfect time to do so! Let me take you further on your vocal adventure; follow this link to register:
